The new question for 'voices' is What would you do to improve next year’s Harvey County Free Fair?

So I have been googling fairs in different counties/states. I have come up with some interesting things.

1. Some fairs offer pay one price for the carnival...every night. Pay one price, get an armband and ride all night.

Contests/Game Ideas

2. BBQ Cook-off, Karaoke Contest , Outhouse Race, Dog Show, Pet Parade, Cheerleading Clinic/Performance,  Lawn Mower Races,  Rooster Crowing Contest,  Stick Horse Race,  Pie Eating Contest,  Petting Zoo,  Pig Races/Greased pigs,  Small Renaissance Festival,  Talent Show,  Fireworks  Display,  Mutton  Bustin,  Calf Scramble,  Street  Dance,  Pinewood Derby,  Salsa Contest, Car show, an old time fiddlers contest (I have family that plays this kind of music...they would probably even be entertainment for a few hours)

Entertainment Ideas 

3.  Blue Grass Band, Gospel night, A few brought in big names (has beens sometimes) and local artists for live entertainment, Comedians, Cloggers (they dance), Square Dancers,

4. Something I would love to see would be a dance...say after the rodeo...I use to love to go to those, when I lived in Texas...they are otherwise known as Rodeo Dances.

So thats What I have to offer..I know there is more out there, but I got tired of googling!
